When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and display name. Your password is securely hashed using industry-standard encryption (bcrypt) before being stored — we never store your password in plain text.

b) Quiz Responses

When you take the compatibility test, we collect your answers to determine your flame type, persona, and compatibility scores. These responses are processed to generate your results and to match you with compatible users.

c) Profile & Preference Data

Information you provide in your profile, including your display name, bio, gender identity, orientation, relationship style, and age preferences for matching.

d) Usage Data

We collect basic usage information such as interactions with the Service (likes, matches, messages) to provide and improve the platform's features.

e) Local Storage Data

If you use the Service without creating an account, we store your test progress locally on your device using browser local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you create an account.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Generate your compatibility profile, flame type, and persona
  • Match you with compatible users based on your quiz results and preferences
  • Enable messaging and communication between matched users
  • Improve and develop the Service
  • Send push notifications if you opt in (match alerts, messages)

4. Cookies & Session Data

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in while you use the Service. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and expires after 30 days of inactivity. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.
